Call-Out Training Fees

We’re pleased to bring The British School of Barbering experience directly to you - wherever you are in the UK or overseas.
Our call-out fees are designed to be clear and fair, reflecting the time, travel and expertise involved in delivering bespoke training at your premises.

Standard Rate

£100 per hour - tuition & hands-on coaching

Travel & Mileage

Mileage is calculated from our base in Chicheley, Buckinghamshire, at the current HMRC guideline rate (45p per mile for the first 200 miles, then 25p per mile).
For overseas bookings, travel expenses (flights, transfers, accommodation if required) are charged at cost.

Time Away From Salon

Where travel takes us away from the salon for a full or part day, that time is included in the hourly/daily rate to ensure the same quality of teaching and business continuity.

Minimum Booking

Half-day (4 hrs) minimum for UK call-outs
Full day (8 hrs) minimum for international work

Example (UK)

3-hour course at your salon, 40 miles away

Tuition: £300 (£100 × 3 hrs)

Mileage: £36 (80 miles return × £0.45)

Total: £336 + VAT

Example (Overseas)

1-day workshop in Europe

Tuition: £800 (8 hrs)

Flights & transfers at cost

Accommodation (if required) at cost
